About me
Mark Leslie Lefebvre is a Canadian author, speaker, and publishing consultant with a bookselling and writing career that spans over four decades and includes forty published books across numerous genres. Known for his extensive contributions to the digital publishing and bookselling worlds, Mark was an early champion of the Espresso Book Machine technology bringing POD access directly into bookstores, developed SYME, a small-publisher access portal for submitting metadata to Chapters/Indigo, and created and launched Kobo Writing Life, Rakuten Kobo’s self-publishing platform. He continues to foster and cultivate industry partnerships for Draft2Digital, the world’s largest and most author-centric distributor of English language indie author titles, and is passionate about helping authors navigate the business of writing and publishing by co-hosting Draft2Digital’s Self-Publishing Insiders live-stream, Wide for the Win’s weekly WIDEstream, and the weekly Stark Reflections on Writing and Publishing podcast which he launched in 2018.
