About me
Sarah & Ian Hoffman are the authors of Jacob’s New Dress, Jacob’s Room To Choose, Jacob’s School Play: Starring He, She, and They!, and Jacob’s Missing Book. Their books have won numerous awards, including the #72 spot on the ALA’s list of the Top 100 Most Banned Books of the Decade. Sarah (she/her) & Ian (he/him) speak widely about raising gender-expansive children, book bans, and creating a culture of kindness. As business partners and spouses, Sarah & Ian have been working together on building a better world for over 25 years. They live in San Francisco with their two children, one cat, two bunnies, three chickens, and 60,000 bees.
